We believe accomplishing this mission begins with nourishing the lives of our employees. Among our benefits, all F&F employees enjoy a free meal plan, wellness and education stipends, and access to the services of our in-house social worker. We are committed to fostering a positive and empowering environment in which everyone brings their best selves to work, contributing to the continuous betterment of the company. And it’s our culture that really sets us apart from other organizations in the food & hospitality industry. Through reducing barriers folks may be showing up with, we work to provide meaningful growth opportunities for all.
By joining us at F&F, you become part of a transparent cross-department team centering joy and ambition—on an exciting growth trajectory which we engage with mindfulness and care. We grow in service of sustainable profitability, mutual support, and thorough maintenance of the superior quality our Members expect.
What does a Delivery Driver at F&F do?
Feast & Fettle offers delivery Sunday-Wednesday, with all drivers taking routes throughout our service area in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Maine. Drivers should expect to be assigned routes within the full geography of our service area during their workweek, with variation day to day from local to city routes. You may be in Boston one day, Warwick the next, and Maine the day after! Departure time varies based on service area, as early as 7am (CT), as late as 12pm (local RI).
Drivers report to our production facility each delivery day and have an assigned route with up to 85 orders to hand deliver in a company vehicle. The number and length of routes assigned each week varies according to order volume.
Drivers use a routing app to navigate to each stop and review delivery notes to ensure each order is delivered to the member correctly, and after placing the order in the intended spot, take a photo and complete the stop. We have a focus on sustainability, and therefore our members are also able to leave out their bags, ice, and containers from previous deliveries for pick up. At the end of their routes, drivers return to the production facility in East Providence to return the bags, ice, and containers for processing. Drivers must perform a vehicle safety check and inspect their vehicle at the beginning and end of each route. Like all team members, drivers also assist with organization-wide demands of the weekly production cycle, including: labeling and packaging, pro-actively maintaining the F&F standard of cleanliness and organization of our equipment and storage across the facility, and helping coworkers across teams, with an all-hands-on-deck attitude reflective of our We Got You values.
All Delivery Drivers must be able to efficiently complete assigned routes no matter the service area within NH, ME, CT, MA, and RI; this includes being able to navigate our Boston service areas as well as local routes.
