FSQA Technician
Feast & Fettle is hiring FSQA Technicians to join our Culinary Operations Center in East Providence, RI.
This is a full-time, hourly role with a consistent schedule and competitive benefits. FSQA Techs play a key role in ensuring our kitchen operates safely, cleanly, and to the highest quality standards—every shift, every product.
Available shifts:
- 2nd Shift - Thursday-Monday - 2:00pm-10:00pm
- 3rd Shift - Thursday-Monday - 10:00pm-6:00am
What you’ll do
As an FSQA Technician, you’ll work closely with the FSQA Manager and production teams to uphold our food safety and quality programs. You’ll be the eyes and ears on the floor—observing, verifying, documenting, and supporting compliance across production activities.
You’ll conduct routine inspections, perform product testing, and document daily, weekly, and monthly food safety tasks. You’ll monitor sanitation, allergen changeovers, labeling accuracy, raw material compliance, and finished product quality—with the goal of identifying and resolving potential issues before they reach our Members.
Your role will involve validating incoming ingredients and packaging, and maintaining FSQA equipment and records. When non-conformances are identified, you’ll support timely communication, assist with evaluations, and help implement improvements. You’ll work across departments and shifts to maintain alignment and keep our production team operating safely and successfully.
This is a structured, detail-driven role that requires comfort in a production environment, standing for long periods, moving between work zones, and using both digital tools and hands-on methods to complete tasks.
What is Feast & Fettle?
Feast & Fettle is the fastest-growing meal delivery service in the Northeast—and that momentum comes from a team of smart, kind people who show up to build, not just keep up. We move with urgency, sweat the right details, and bring care to everything we touch.
What began in 2016 as a private chef’s side hustle has grown into a company serving thousands of households, with a mission that’s both simple and personal: to nourish everyday life. That mission shows up in every detail—from how we source ingredients and plan our weekly menus to the care in every delivery and the trust we build at our Members’ tables.
We care for our people the same way we care for our Members—with consistency, thoughtfulness, and a constant drive to raise the standard. We invest in our team because we know: when you’re supported, you do your best work—and help us do ours.
What we’re looking for
You’re detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about food safety. You understand the importance of systems, standards, and follow-through—and you’re eager to learn and contribute to a high-functioning team.
You’ve worked in a food manufacturing or food handling environment and are comfortable with fast-paced operations. FSQA or quality control experience is a plus, but not required. You bring a strong work ethic, steady focus, and a willingness to jump in and support wherever needed.
You’re comfortable using checklists and digital systems, confident communicating with team members, and ready to spend most of your shift on the production floor. You’re energized by problem-solving, driven by quality, and bring consistency to every shift.
What you get:
$20-24/hr plus full time benefits package
Here, you’ll find comprehensive benefits that make a difference in your daily well-being, along with a safe, welcoming, and energized workplace culture committed to providing the opportunity for every team member to thrive.
We provide medical, dental, and vision coverage (with 70% of your monthly premium paid by F&F), accrued paid time off totaling three weeks in your first year (and increasing with tenure), and a 401(k) retirement plan. All employees enjoy a free Feast & Fettle membership—$165 worth of our fully prepared menu items every week—plus paid parental leave, an annual $1,000 professional development benefit, and a monthly wellness reimbursement you can use for anything that supports your well-being, from gym memberships to therapy copays.
