Culinary Production Manager
Feast & Fettle is hiring a Production Manager to support our Culinary Operations Center team in East Providence, RI.
This is a full-time leadership role responsible for driving performance, fostering a culture of career path development for hourly and salaried associates, and ensuring operational excellence in a large-scale food manufacturing environment.
Reporting to the Director of Culinary Operations, the Production Manager drives food safety and quality culture, oversees daily output, leads the team, and manages systems across a high-volume, multi-shift kitchen operation. The role requires consistent on-site presence, weekend availability, and bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
What you’ll do
As the Production Manager, you’ll lead all aspects of prepared food production—from team structure and staffing to output, quality, and safety.
You’ll own the shift-level strategy, supporting day-to-day production goals while building a resilient team culture and a stable, scalable operation. Managing a team of Production Supervisors and over 50 hourly associates, you will oversee stations that include ovens, tilt skillets, flat tops, tumblers, slicers, and other industrial kitchen equipment.
You will drive a culture of food safety and quality, ensuring regulatory compliance at all times, and you will investigate compliance or food safety issues using a root-cause corrective action process. You will monitor throughput and downtime, track production KPIs, and seek opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen team performance.
Collaboration will be central to your work, as you’ll partner with Fulfillment, FSQA, Sanitation, Logistics, and People Ops to keep the kitchen clean, compliant, and running smoothly. You’ll also take ownership of hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing career development, ensuring your team is well-rounded, well-equipped, and set up for long-term success.
What is Feast & Fettle?
Feast & Fettle is the fastest-growing meal delivery service in the Northeast—and that momentum comes from a team of smart, kind people who show up to build, not just keep up. We move with urgency, sweat the right details, and bring care to everything we touch.
What began in 2016 as a private chef’s side hustle has grown into a company serving thousands of households, with a mission that’s both simple and personal: to nourish everyday life. That mission shows up in every detail—from how we source ingredients and plan our weekly menus to the care in every delivery and the trust we build at our Members’ tables.
We care for our people the same way we care for our Members—with consistency, thoughtfulness, and a commitment to raising the standard. We invest in our team because we know: when you’re supported, you do your best work—and help us do ours.
What we’re looking for:
You’re a proven people and process leader with experience managing high-volume food production or manufacturing operations. You understand batch cooking at scale, team supervision, and the systems that drive productivity, accuracy, and compliance.
You bring experience in food manufacturing and have a deep understanding of operations in a regulatory-compliant facility. You are confident working in an environment with perishable goods, fast-moving priorities, and daily volume targets, and you thrive on the floor, working across shifts and supporting a team that depends on structure, clear communication, and reliability.
Your planning skills are strong, your ability to interpret and act on data is second nature, and your leadership style is grounded in accountability and steadiness under pressure.
Preferred qualifications include experience in Six Sigma, 5S, and other Lean principles. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required, ServSafe certification is preferred, and in-house food safety training is required during onboarding.
We believe leadership should mirror the diversity of our team — in lived experiences, cultural perspectives, and ways of thinking — and we’ll give preference to candidates who can truly connect with and represent our people.
What you get:
$90,000 salaried compensation
Here, you’ll find comprehensive benefits that make a difference in your daily well-being, along with a safe, welcoming, and energized workplace culture committed to providing the opportunity for every team member to thrive.
We provide medical, dental, and vision coverage (with 70% of your monthly premium paid by F&F), accrued paid time off totaling three weeks in your first year (and increasing with tenure), and a 401(k) retirement plan.
All employees enjoy a free Feast & Fettle membership—$165 worth of our fully prepared menu items every week—plus paid parental leave, an annual $1,000 professional development benefit, and a monthly wellness reimbursement you can use for anything that supports your well-being, from gym memberships to therapy copays.
