Safety Supervisor
Feast & Fettle is hiring a Safety Supervisor to join our team in East Providence, RI.
The Safety Supervisor will lead workplace health and safety programs, drive regulatory compliance, and ensure our operations are safe, efficient, and audit-ready every day. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role responsible for cultivating a proactive safety culture across our culinary production, fulfillment, logistics, and facilities teams.
What you’ll do
As Safety Supervisor, you’ll own the day-to-day execution of our workplace safety programs and procedures. From food manufacturing to last-mile delivery, you’ll work across departments to uphold safety standards, train and coach staff, and drive continuous improvement.
You’ll conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and job safety analyses (JSAs), and maintain all documentation to keep our operations OSHA-compliant and inspection-ready. You’ll develop and lead required trainings, including hazard communication, PPE, LOTO, emergency response, safe food handling, and safe driving practices, and ensure safety records and certifications are current and well maintained.
When incidents or near-misses occur, you’ll lead investigations, document findings, coordinate follow-up actions, and support workers' compensation claims as needed. You’ll oversee our OSHA and DOT compliance logs and ensure MSDS/SDS and chemical storage practices are up to standard.
You’ll also partner closely with Production, FSQA, Logistics, Facilities, and People Ops to address safety concerns, drive ergonomic and process improvements, and lead drills and safety campaigns that keep our team safe and engaged.
This is a highly collaborative role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment—balancing regulatory rigor with thoughtful coaching and communication on the floor.
What is Feast & Fettle?
Feast & Fettle is the fastest-growing meal delivery service in the Northeast—and that momentum comes from a team of smart, kind people who show up to build, not just keep up. We move with urgency, sweat the right details, and bring care to everything we touch.
What began in 2016 as a private chef’s side hustle has grown into a company serving thousands of households, with a mission that’s both simple and personal: to nourish everyday life. That mission shows up in every detail—from how we source ingredients and plan our weekly menus to the care in every delivery and the trust we build at our Members’ tables.
We care for our people the same way we care for our Members—with consistency, thoughtfulness, and a constant drive to raise the standard. We invest in our team because we know: when you’re supported, you do your best work—and help us do ours.
What we’re looking for
You’re an experienced safety professional with a strong understanding of OSHA standards, food safety regulations, and best practices for safe manufacturing and distribution environments. You’ve worked in food production, warehouse, or industrial environments and are confident leading audits, trainings, and corrective action plans.
You bring a proactive, hands-on approach to workplace safety and a calm, steady presence in fast-moving situations. You’re organized, communicative, and skilled at building trust and engagement across diverse teams.
You’re confident leading training and documentation, comfortable using safety and reporting software, and focused on continuous improvement. Most of all, you care deeply about creating a culture where safety is part of how we work—not just what we check.
