Receiving Coordinator

Feast & Fettle is seeking an experienced RECEIVING COORDINATOR to join Purchasing & Receiving operations at our production kitchen facility located in East Providence.

This position, with a salary of $50,000 ,will have a base schedule of Wednesday-Sunday, 6am-2pm and report to our Purchasing Lead.

What does a Receiving Coordinator at F&F do?

  • Receive all food deliveries and perform required audit of quality and quantities
  • Facilitate proper storage of all received goods
  • Managing flow of invoices to Purchasing Manager; accuracy of products, returns, credits, navigating discrepancies
  • Forecasting future orders to vendors using internal systems
  • Place orders with vendors
  • Conduct weekly inventory of food items
  • Document a weekly compost

What does a strong applicant for this position have?

  • 2-3 years of experience [relevant experience such as Sous Chef, Receiving, Kitchen Management, etc)
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Physically able to lift items weighing fifty (50) pounds
  • Basic understanding of general food ingredients
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • ServSafe Manager certified
  • Food Allergen Awareness certified
  • Desire to contribute positively to your coworkers and to the company
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively
  • Very strong work ethic and enthusiastic attitude
  • Tech savvy is a major plus! We like to integrate tech into all aspects of the business
  • Positive attitude; we believe a negative attitude inhibits everything about what we are trying to accomplish as a team.
