What You Own

As Operations Manager at the Rhode Island Distribution Center (“F1”), you’ll lead all Order Fulfillment operations at our East Providence facility, overseeing the teams and systems that receive, label, sort, and pack prepared menu items into weekly orders for our Member base in the Northeast. You’re responsible for ensuring our Members receive every meal—complete, correct, and on time.

Reporting to the Director of Distribution Operations, you’ll oversee multiple shifts and team leads across six operating days, managing people, product flow, and performance. You’ll be hands-on in the operation and also strategic in how we scale.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop Fulfillment teams across shifts to meet performance expectations

  • Foster a positive, collaborative environment that supports team growth and accountability

  • Own shift-level KPIs including labor, accuracy, and throughput

  • Champion our culture by partnering with the People Team on hiring, training, employee experience, and performance

Fulfillment Operations

  • Oversee all product movement from receiving through Member delivery

  • Facilitate and oversee all distribution to our remote fulfillment centers across the Northeast

  • Ensure proper labeling, sorting, and order fulfillment to our standards

  • Manage inventory of Fulfillment-specific supplies and tools

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product availability and schedule alignment

Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate workflows and equipment to optimize space, labor, and tooling

  • Identify and implement operational improvements with measurable impact

  • Leverage technology to enhance tracking, communication, and process visibility

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work in close partnership with Production, Logistics, FSQA, and Customer Experience

  • Address fulfillment issues at the root cause and develop preventative solutions

  • Communicate priorities clearly to floor teams and department stakeholders

  • Every order leaves our distribution center complete and on time

  • Fulfillment teams are staffed, supported, and hitting their targets

  • Operational processes are scalable, documented, and continuously improving

  • Fulfillment issues are addressed quickly and solved at the systems level
